This page covers Front as a knowledge source — syncing Help Center articles into the AI’s training index. For inbox connect, conversations, channels, and handoff, see the Front integration.
The Front source pulls published articles from your Front Help Centers into the AI’s training index. Unlike most sources, Front lets you pick which Help Centers to sync — useful when you have separate public, internal, and product-specific knowledge bases under one Front account.

What’s distinctive

  • Per-Help-Center scoping. When you paste your API key, OpenCX fetches the list of Help Centers from your Front account and lets you check the boxes for the ones you want synced. Unchecked Help Centers are skipped entirely.
  • Visibility matches Front’s own type. Articles in Help Centers marked internal in Front come in as internal in OpenCX. Non-published articles (draft, archived) are also marked internal.
  • Article content is fetched per article. The connector enriches each article with its full rendered content at sync time — not just metadata.
